Membership with the NAMBC

Dues are for one calendar year, January 1-December 31. Categories are based on sales or gross annual revenue, whichever is higher, except for (1) mining, oil and natural resource development companies, for which categories are based on market capitalization for both North American and Mongolian mining companies, (2) non-profit organizations and (3) Mongolian Associate Members. Gross annual revenue is not limited to revenue derived in Mongolia but rather is the consolidated sales or gross revenue of the parent plus all subsidiaries, branches or similar entities that are more than 50% owned or otherwise controlled by the parent company. Applications for membership may be subject to approval of the Membership Committee.
Corporate Members – Dues based on Gross Revenue of Parent Company
Corporate members have voting privileges and may be elected to the Board of Directors. Eligibility: Corporate Members must (1) have one or more offices in the US or Canada or (2) be incorporated in the US or Canada or (3) be listed on a stock exchange in the US or Canada.

Mongolian Corporate Members — Non-mining, non-natural resource development — Dues based on Gross Revenue of Parent Company
Mongolian corporate members have voting privileges and may be elected to the Board of Directors. Eligibility: Mongolian corporate members must be incorporated in Mongolia and have their headquarters office, primary economic activity and majority ownership in Mongolia. Companies in Mongolia owned by or which are subsidiaries of any foreign entity are not eligible for this category but may apply to join as Corporate Members (see above) if they qualify as a Canadian or US company as defined above.

Mongolian Associate Members in Mongolia and North America– Flat Rate Dues
Mongolian Associate Members may not vote or be elected to the Board of Directors. Eligibility: Mongolian Associate Members must conform to the same requirements as Mongolian Corporate Members or be accredited foreign embassies or representative offices of international organizations in Ulaanbaatar or Mongolian-owned businesses in Canada or the US with gross annual revenue less than US$250,000 per year or others approved by the Membership Committee.

Student Associate Members in Mongolia and North America– Flat Rate
Dues Any full-time university student with Mongolian, Canadian or American citizenship enrolled full-time at any accredited university or college is eligible to join as an Associate Member. Student membership may be continued for one year after graduating or leaving the university. Associate Members may not vote or be elected to the Board of Directors.

Members based in North America — Please remit dues by check in US dollars drawn on a US bank to the North America-Mongolia Business Council offices at address below OR by bank wire to the NAMBC in the USA. Members based in Mongolia — Please remit dues either by bank wire transfer to NAMBC in USA, per above, OR by wire transfer to the NAMBC account in Ulaanbaatar. For further information on UB wire transfers, please click here to contact Bolortuya, UB Office Manager. Dues payments remitted to the NAMBC in Mongolia may be paid in Mongolian Tugrik (MNT) at the prevailing exchange rate.
