Registration is now open for the NAMBC’s 19th Annual General Meeting in Washington, DC, April 20-22, See hyperlink for registration form. March 16 is the deadline for the 5% early registration discount A registration form follows below. The cut-off date for AGM registration is April 10, 2009; registrations afterwards incur a US$50 late fee, if space is still available.

Our AGM will focus on “Mongolia’s Resurgent Economy,” with speakers on mining and oil development and other sectors. The AGM will open on the evening of Monday, April 20, and conclude by 1:00 PM on Wednesday, April 22.

Non-members are warmly welcome. For NAMBC Members ONLY, the second delegate from the same company gets a 20% discount, third and all other delegates from same company get a 25% discount.  This multiple delegate discount is not available to non-members.

Mongolian Ambassador to the US Kh. Bekhbat will host the opening reception of the AGM on the evening of Monday, April 20, at the Mongolian Embassy in honor of the AGM delegates and will address the AGM on Tuesday, April 21.

The AGM venue is the Washington Marriott @  Metro Center Hotel, 775 12th Street NW, in the heart of downtown Washington, DC. The deadline for room reservations at the Marriott @ Metro Center is March 30.  The NAMBC has reserved a bloc of rooms at a discounted group rate of US$299 per night single or double plus tax, discounted from $389 per night. AGM attendees may find cheaper rates on the Internet for both the Marriott @ Metro Center and nearby hotels.

The Marriott @ Metro Center is located literally on top of the central hub of the Washington Metrorail Mass Transit System – Metro Center Station. Virtually every hotel in the downtown area is not more than a 15 minute subway ride from the Metro Center Station, which is virtually in the basement of the Marriott @ Metro Center Hotel.
